The Nimble Studio is a creative studio based in Cape Town, South Africa.

We work across creative strategy, branding, design, photography, film, and production for local and international clients.

Every project begins with a written proposal, quotation or agreement.

Work only starts once written approval is received.

Clear scope protects both parties. If the scope evolves, we will discuss and quote accordingly before proceeding.

• Quotes are valid for the period stated in the proposal
• Payment terms are outlined in your agreement or invoice
• Prices exclude VAT unless otherwise stated
• Late payments may delay delivery or suspend services
• Additional work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately

We run a professional studio with teams, systems and collaborators. Clear payment terms allow us to maintain quality and reliability.

To keep projects flowing smoothly, clients agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete project information
• Supply timely feedback and approvals
• Ensure they have rights to any materials provided
• Respect agreed timelines and payment terms

Delays in feedback or asset delivery may impact schedules and costs.

Unless agreed otherwise in writing:

• All creative work remains the property of The Nimble Studio until full payment is received
• Upon full payment, you receive a licence to use the final approved deliverables for the agreed platforms and purposes
• Raw footage, working files or unedited materials are not included unless specifically agreed
• We reserve the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio, website and social media unless otherwise agreed

We respect your brand. We also protect the integrity of our work.

Proposals include a defined number of revisions.

Additional revisions beyond scope may incur additional costs.

Once final approval is given, responsibility for overlooked errors transfers to the client.

If a project is cancelled or postponed:

• Work already completed remains payable
• Third-party costs (crew, bookings, suppliers) remain payable
• Refunds are assessed based on work completed

Production requires coordination and commitment. We book people, locations and resources in advance.

The Nimble Studio is not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses
• Loss of profit or business interruption
• Delays beyond our reasonable control such as weather, equipment failure or third-party suppliers

Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question.

You agree not to:

• Use the website for unlawful purposes
• Copy or reproduce content without permission
• Attempt to interfere with website security or functionality

All content remains the intellectual property of The Nimble Studio unless stated otherwise.

Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive business information shared during a project, unless disclosure is required by law.

Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including POPIA.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will fall under South African jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website with the effective date clearly indicated.
